This distinctions in that social order did not imply any discrimination.If a Brahaman became great by imparting knowledge, a Kshatriya was hailed as equally great by for destroying the enemy. There is no instance where castes hampered the progress or disrupted the unity of society in ancient time which continued for thousands of years.
